Of course, like everyone out there, I’m all for body detoxification but is there any other easier way to detox your body without the dreaded body detoxification diet? Yup, i forgot to mention, a body detox diet can be pretty awful but i guess good things don’t always go well with your taste buds. You are basically only allowed to eat vegetables, fruits and other organic foods. There’s no frying, no sugar, no added preservatives. So you can imagine how your food would taste like.

There seems like quite a few detoxification diets out there too. You have the 24 hours diet, the 7 days detox diet, the 10 days detox diet, juicing whereby you are only allowed liquids-yikes and a few more others. There are even some that are designed to target certain organs of our body like lung, kidney and liver. These organs are part of our body’s natural detoxification system. So they are the best place to accumulate a lot of toxins and it make sense to target those organs.

This body detoxification thing does sound complicated doesn’t it? But during my research on body detoxification, I stumbled upon this so-called magic pill called Orovo Detox. It has gotten some rave reviews. I’m always careful when popping pills into my mouth and you should too. Do consult your doctors.

Anyway, I’ve done some research and it seems like this pill is made of natural ingredients such as barley, acai flaxseed and other natural components. These ingredients are called “Super Food”. In fact there are 10 Super foods with an additional 31 of Mother Nature’s best detoxing agents used in Orovo Detox. Wow!

Of course body detoxification is a must but I’m always looking for an easier way out and this Orovo Detox does sound like an alternative to a detox diet.

So, what does this Orovo Detox really do?

It’s claimed that it will detox your body by getting rid of the toxins accumulated through out the years. By doing that, it will make you loose weight too as your body is now free or has a lot less toxins than before. Now the kicker – it also help you fight aging! One of the 31 detoxing agents is Idebenone. Idebenone is an anti-aging agent.

Looks like a miracle pill if you ask me. You can find out more about Orovo Detox here:
Orovo Detox

Do comment if you have more to add about Orovo Detox or if you have tried this pill before.

Some research and studies done recently, claim that there are increasing amounts and traces of these heavy metals to be found in our bloodstreams, tissue, urine etc. The experts and scientists attribute these numbers and increased incidence to what they call extensive environmental exposure. Things like treated lumber, fillings (mercury) in teeth, preservatives in vaccines, the foods that we consume and even the air we breathe in.

The accumulation of these toxins will overtime cause a wide range of health related problems. These include stomach upset, skin irritation, nausea, kidney toxicity, joint pain, headaches, bloated stomach, fever, extreme fatigue, diarrhea, weight gain and even cancer.

Basically, there’s nowhere to run. These toxins will get into your body one way or another. No matter where we are or what we do. One of the biggest toxins contributors to our body is the food we consume. So, stop eating junk food, fast food, cigarettes and reduce coffee consumption.

While this is one way to reduce the amount of toxins going into our body, but how do we get rid of the toxins that are already inside our body, accumulated throughout the years. One way to reduce the amount of toxic substances in our body is through body detoxification. Body detoxification is a method to remove the accumulated toxins from within our body by means of body cleansing.

I have heard a lot about this method lately and most of it are good. Even some famous Hollywood stars are using it but mainly to loose weight. Yeah, i forgot to mention, body detox will make you loose weight! I guess this will appeal to a lot of people especially those trying to loose weight. I mean, it’s like the holy grail of the weight watcher world. It will help you to get rid of toxins and make you loose weight at the same time!
What else can you ask for.

Witch hazel has been used for many generations to treat skin problems. It has even made its way into a number of mainstream skin products over the years, from respected companies such as Pond’s. Herbalists have also used it internally to treat some conditions, although there is some debate as to its safety when used internally.

Witch hazel’s pleasant fragrance and easy care makes it a popular shrub. It can also be found in various forms in herb shops. Here are five of the most popular uses for witch hazel:

1. Witch hazel can be used on sores, bruises and swelling. For this purpose, witch hazel is often used in a liquid astringent form. It can be applied several times a day to provide soothing relief to injuries.

2. Witch hazel’s antioxidant and astringent properties make it effective against acne. For the treatment of acne, witch hazel is also often used in its astringent form. It is gentle and non-drying to the skin, unlike many harsh acne medications found in drug stores.

3. Skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema can be treated with witch hazel. These conditions are unsightly and painful, but witch hazel can soothe both the visible symptoms and the pain associated with them. These characteristics also make witch hazel a good option for sunburn. For these types of conditions, witch hazel may be better used in a cream preparation.

4. Witch hazel is a good choice for treating exposure to poison ivy. Witch hazel is gentle yet effective against the itching and swelling of the outbreaks that result from contact with the plant.

5. Witch hazel is effective against hemorrhoids and varicose veins. The herb’s anti-inflammatory properties can shrink hemorrhoids and bulging varicose veins. It can also provide relief from the pain associated with both conditions. Witch hazel is available in the form of pads for hemorrhoid relief, and these can also be used on the varicose veins if desired.

How Do I Use Witch Hazel?

If you’re growing your own witch hazel, you’ll need to make a tincture or tea out of witch hazel leaves. The tea is made by steeping 2 to 3 grams of witch hazel leaf in a cup of boiling water for about 15 minutes. Tincture is obtained by placing the bark in alcohol, allowing the alcohol to extract the beneficial oils of the plant.

Witch hazel can be found in stores in the form of astringent, medicated pads, creams, toners and facial washes. It can also be found in some shaving products due to its numbing properties.

Witch hazel is one of the most useful herbs in existence. It can treat a wide variety of skin conditions gently yet effectively. Used properly, it has few side effects.

There was a time when if you wanted whiter teeth, it seemed that the only option was to go to the dentist and have the teeth bleached. Now there are numerous tooth whitening products on the market that you can use at home. But both of these options involve using potentially dangerous chemicals, and they can even make teeth very sensitive, replacing one problem with another more serious one.

But there is good news: there are many ways in which we can brighten our teeth naturally. By using some preventive measures and making treatments out of herbs and things we can find around the house or at the grocery store, we can make our pearly whites whiter. Here are some tips:

* As always, brushing and flossing regularly is the most important thing we can do for our teeth. It helps prevent cavities and fight plaque and tartar, and it also reduces staining. Brush after every meal if possible. If you don’t have a toothbrush handy, rinsing your mouth well is better than nothing.

* Avoid using too much fluoride. Although fluoride is included in toothpastes and water supplies, too much of it can discolor your teeth.

* Avoid tobacco use, and go easy on the coffee and tea. These are three of the most common culprits of tooth staining.

* Cola, wine, and even certain fruits and vegetables can also stain teeth. That doesn’t mean we have to stop eating fruits and vegetables, just that we should take special care to brush well after eating some of them.

* Some fruits are excellent tooth whiteners. Strawberries, for example, can be rubbed directly on teeth or mashed up and brushed on. The inside of an orange peel is also great for whitening. You can rub it directly on your teeth, or make a paste of dried orange peel and ground bay leaves to brush on. A mixture of lemon juice and salt also works well.

* Use baking soda. Many of the toothpastes on the market include baking soda in their ingredients because it is so effective. But you don’t have to buy a special toothpaste. You can mix baking soda with a dash of salt and add a little vinegar to make a homemade tooth whitener.

* Take care when choosing a mouthwash. Most have alcohol in them, and some even have ingredients such as chlorhexidine that can discolor teeth. Herbal antibacterial mouthwashes are available that kill germs and freshen breath without harmful chemicals.

Whitening your teeth does not have to be expensive, and you don’t have to use harsh chemicals. By using preventive measures and natural remedies, you can make your smile brighter without harming your teeth in other ways. Â

Vibration medicine is all about balance. It is based on the principle that all matter vibrates to a specific frequency. When our bodies deviate from their normal vibration, disease and ill effects can occur.

There are many types of vibrational healing. Some have been around for centuries, while others are in the experimental stages. Here are the explanations of some of the types of vibrational medicine.

Reiki

Reiki is a form of vibrational medicine that deals with our Ki, or life force. Practitioners are trained and attuned by Reiki masters. They promote relaxation and healing through the laying on of hands.

Reiki is based upon the principle that negative thoughts exist not only in the mind, but also throughout the body and aura. By altering the negative vibrations, Reiki practitioners allow Ki to flow freely through the body, allowing it to return to its natural, healthy state.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is one of the oldest forms of healing in existence. Over 2,500 years old, the technique involves stimulating certain points on the body using fine needles. Acupuncture takes into account the same life force as Reiki, but it works on the assumption that the energy flows between two opposite poles.

The stimulation of the needles on specific points works on the organ systems of the body. By altering their vibrations, the life force is regulated. This treats the sickness or disorder at hand.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a fairly common form of vibration medicine. Only 2% of people in the United States and Britain use it, but 15% of those in India have used homeopathy.

Like the other types of vibration medicine, homeopathy’s philosophy is based upon the idea that disease and sickness are caused by a disturbance of the life force. In undiluted form, homeopathic medicine produces symptoms similar to those of the disease they are intended to treat. But the medicines are diluted and shaken several times before being given to the patient, purportedly enhancing spirit-like powers in the drug.

Other Types of Vibration Medicine

New forms of vibration medicine are being tested. One involves therapy with actual tiny vibrations, and is believed to be effective against osteoporosis. Study participants received the therapy for 10 minutes each day for a year, and their bone and muscle mass both increased.

Other types of vibration therapy involve vibrations of sound and color. It is not clear how well these therapies work, but they are being given serious consideration.

Acupuncture is probably the most respected type of vibration therapy in the Western world. But other types of vibration therapy are gaining ground. Although it is difficult to comprehend how these types of therapy work, they all have dedicated followers. Most of them have not been found to cause harm, and that is more than can be said for most types of medicine.

Vegetarianism has been practiced for many centuries. Some are vegetarian for religious reasons, others for ethical reasons, and others simply believe that it is a healthier way to live. As long as one includes all of the necessary vitamins and minerals in one’s vegetarian diet, vegetarianism does not cause any health problems.

Some people believe that the words “vegetarian” and “vegan” mean the same thing, but they do not. Vegetarian is a broader term that encompasses several different diets, while vegans eat a specific type of diet and often try to avoid any animal products in their lives.

Vegans

Vegans do not eat any type of animal flesh, nor do they consume animal products such as eggs and milk. Most vegans do not even eat honey, and some do not eat yeast products. Lifestyle characteristics include not wearing any type of animal product, including silk or wool, and not using lotions or other products that have ingredients that originate from animals.

These requirements are set forth by vegan societies. Individual vegans may or may not follow them to the letter. But the principle is to avoid consuming or using anything that could harm any type of animal. Those who adhere to a strict vegan diet but are not concerned with non-food uses of animal products are called dietary vegans.

Lacto Vegetarians and Ovo-Lacto Vegetarians

Lacto vegetarians have the same dietary principles as vegans, except they do consume milk products. Ovo-Lacto vegetarians are the same as lacto vegetarians, but they also consume eggs and egg products. Both groups may or may not avoid use of non-food animal products.

Other Types of Vegetarians

There are a few other groups that associate themselves with vegetarianism. Pesectarians, for example, consume something similar to a vegetarian diet, but they eat fish as well. Fruitarians eat a vegan diet, but they also exclude foods that kill the plant when harvested.

Which Type of Vegetarian Diet is Best?

The best type of vegetarian diet depends on a person’s individual motives for being a vegetarian. Those who are vegetarians because they want to combat animal cruelty usually opt for a vegan diet. People who simply want to avoid supporting factory farming techniques often become pesectarians. And those who want to avoid the health risks of consuming meat may become lacto or ovo-lacto vegetarians.

Some argue that a raw vegan diet, in which vegan foods are not cooked above 115 degrees Fahrenheit, is the healthiest diet for humans. There is some debate around the subject, but in any case it is possible to eat a raw vegan diet and still get the nutrients we need to survive.

Veganism is simply a subcategory of vegetarianism. Due to the strict requirements of their diets, they are also sometimes called strict vegetarians. The difference between vegans and vegetarians is that vegetarians may or may not eat foods that are forbidden by the vegan diet.
