A herniated disc or an injured or inflamed disc can also be a cause to lower back. It serves as a vital sign to women because it just means one thing—you are pregnant. However, if it perseveres during pregnancy, it can already be a problem. It can become painful which is extremely irritating and wearisome.</p>
<p>Usually the pain is not only present in the <strong>lower back</strong>. It can also cause pain in the upper back, shoulders, ribs and even the breasts. There are some women who feel sciatic pains which can also travel to their legs. Some people also experience pelvic pain, which also affects their pubic joints.</p>
<p>Having <strong>back pain</strong> is caused by a number of factors. One is the continuous gain of weight during pregnancy. The developing baby and pregnancy makes more weight that your back must be able to support. This increase of weight puts pressure on the lumber spine that causes pain in the lower back. In order to adjust the pressure initiating the greater spot on the back, women mostly push their pelvis forward. Too much sitting and standing can also cause pain in the back.</p>
<p>Some women who have already experienced delivery have had difficulty which has caused tiny fractures. These fractures have the tendency to burn up again. It is a must to take someone with you to help you carry a bag of groceries or shopping bags. If you already gave birth to your baby, do not carry him or her on your hip because it will only exert a lot of pressure on your back. Second, you must not do domestic chores that involve bending too much for this will only stretch your back and cause more pain than comfort. Third, you have to put on comfy shoes with broad heels and straps to be able to walk freely without slipping. Fourth, if you are pregnant, you can have a maternity bra on with broad straps and ample cup to avoid putting any strain on your shoulders. Fifth, you can use an ergonomic or orthopaedic chair which gives lumber spine support. This is ideal for working women for it can help you relax and correct your posture. It is a must to sit not in cross-legs and also adjust the computer screen and mouse in order to work with no strain.</p>
<p>There are also treatments that must be continuously done to help <strong>cure your back pain</strong>. The first thing to do is exercise. Normal exercises such as walking and gentle stretching can relieve the stiffness and pain you are feeling. But make sure you do not compel yourself to do things that go beyond your endurance. The second one is to rest for it always eases the lower back pain. The third is to have your back body massaged. You can do it for your own body or you can have someone else to do it for you. The massage has to be gentle for a deep and hard massage will only distress the acupuncture points in your body, especially if you have a background on <strong>sciatic pain</strong>.</p>

Though, most elderly people have a hard time sensing thirst and pouring themselves a glass of water to drink can already be very hard for them, it is still recommended for them to drink at least 1 ounce of water for every 2.2 pounds of the weight of their bodies.</p>
<p><strong>Protein</strong></p>
<p>Protein foods such as eggs, poultry, lean meat, and fish are very important nutrients for the elderly people because it strengthens the immune system and hinders the wasting of muscles.</p>

<p>Diflucan is primarily fungistatic; this means it inhibits the growth of the  organism. But in high concentrations, <strong>Diflucan</strong> shows some fungicidal  (killing property) as well.<br />
Diflucan is prescribed in the cases of fungal infection in the nails, lungs,  genital parts, mouth, throat, esophagus (stomach pipe) and urinary bladder. It  is also helpful for the persons having weaker immunity such as in the cases of  AIDS, bone marrow transplantation and chemotherapy patients.</p>
<p><strong>The following organisms are sensitive to Diflucan:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Candida</li>
<li>Cryptococcus neoformans</li>
<li>Coccidioides immitis</li>
<li>Blastomyesis dermatitis</li>
<li>Tricophyton</li>
<li>Microsporum</li>
<li>Histoplasma.</li>
</ul>
<p>Bioavailability after oral ingestion is almost 100% and the rate of  absorption is not essentially related to food. The half life of Diflucan  strictly follows Zero-order kinetics as shown by other imidazoles. Only 10% of  the total dose taken is eliminated through metabolism of the drug.</p>
<p><strong>Indications of Diflucan:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oral cadidasis</li>
<li>Tenia corporis, Tenia capitis, Tenia cruris and Tenia pedis.</li>
<li>Fungal infection of the nails (Tenia unguium).</li>
<li>Any case of Cryptococcal meningitis (seen in the AIDS patients) should    warrant first line treatment by Diflucan.</li>
<li>In the immunocompromized persons, prophylaxis through Diflucan is    essential for the Candida infection.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Contraindications of Diflucan:</strong><br />
The patients having any previous sensitivity to Diflucan or similar Imidazole  antifungal agents like Ketoconazole: should not be prescribed this drug. If the  patient is on Cisapride, Diflucan should not be given to prevent severe cardiac  complications. Besides, Diflucan is contraindicated for the patients having  prolonged QT interval and are on other medicines which stabilizes the heart rate  like Digitalis.</p>
<p>Susceptible persons can get deranged liver function as Diflucan can cause  hepatotoxicity. Diflucan should be judiciously prescribed for the patients  having any kind of pre-existing liver disease.<br />
Diflucan has teratogenic potentiality. Therefore, it should not be prescribed to  pregnant mothers and those are planning to have a baby during the treatment  period. Besides, Diflucan is secreted in the breast milk and nursing mothers  should not be prescribed also.</p>
<p><strong>Doses of Diflucan:</strong><br />
It can be prescribed in the children in the dose of 3-12 mg per Kg of body  weight in divided doses. In case of adults, the dose varies from 100-400 mg in  divided doses. The duration varies according to the necessity. In the fungal  infection of scalp and groin, the duration is generally 2 weeks. But in case of  infection in the finger nails it is 4 -6 weeks and for the toe nail infection,  the duration is from 6-12 months.</p>
<p><strong>Side effects of Diflucan:</strong><br />
Generally Diflucan is well tolerated. But in some patients, there is nausea,  vomiting, rash over the exposed parts of the body, pain abdomen, loss of  appetite and constipation. Liver failure, Stevens-Johnsonâ€™s Syndrome,  thrombocytopenia and Torsades-de-pointes are among the rare and serious  complications of long term use of Diflucan.</p>
